LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Guard Thomas Allen of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire and graduate transfer center Duby Okeke (DOO'-bee OKAY'-Kay) of Winthrop have signed basketball letters of intent with Nebraska.

Coach Tim Miles announced Tuesday that both would join the program next season.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Allen was a top-100 recruit by ESPN, Scout and Rivals, which all listed him as a four-star prospect. Allen, originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, averaged 18 points and shot 48 percent on 3-pointers last season.

Allen originally signed last November with North Carolina State, which had a coaching change after the season. He chose Nebraska over Kansas, Georgetown and Xavier, among others.

The 6-8, 230-pound Okeke holds Winthrop shot-blocking records and averaged 3.2 points and 3.9 rebounds last season.
