MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) — Greg Tucker scored 17 points and Jacksonville State beat Morehead State 70-61 in a regular season closer for both teams on Saturday.

The win improves the Gamecocks (17-14, 9-7) standing in the Ohio Valley Conference to third place behind No. 1 Belmont and second place Morehead State.

Norbertas Giga and Erik Durham added 15 points apiece and Malcolm Drumwright had 14.

Durham made a 3-pointer to put Jacksonville State on top 25-21 with 4:55 to go before the break and the Gamecocks never trailed after that, taking it to 59-52 on a Tucker free throw with 5:26 left in the second half.

Morehead State got as close as 63-61 with 1:18 to go then missed on four attempts. Drumwright sank a 3-pointer and two free throws and Tucker hit another pair from the line to finish out the scoring.

Miguel Dicent scored 19 points for the Eagles (14-15, 10-6).
