ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Martez Walker scored 19 points and had nine boards and Jalen Hayes added 15 points and nine rebounds to send Oakland past Southern Utah 78-68 on Saturday.

Isaiah Brock's dunk with 10:22 remaining gave Oakland (8-1) a 61-37 lead that was never threatened. James McGee's free throw with 22 seconds remaining marked the only time Southern Utah (2-6) faced a single-digit deficit (77-68) after halftime.

Walker made back-to-back 3s giving the Grizzlies a 10-7 lead they'd never surrender. Ivan Madunic's 3 brought the Thunderbirds to within 28-24 with 3:33 before halftime before Oakland went on a 10-0 spurt to close the half.

Nick Daniels hit a 3, Hayes hit a pair of jumpers and Sherron Dorsey-Walker's 3 with five seconds on the clock capped the run.
