FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Bryson Scott scored a career-high 24 points and Mo Evans added 23 points and 10 assists as Fort Wayne beat Miami (Ohio) 87-71 on Saturday for the Mastodons' sixth consecutive victory.

John Konchar added 14 points and 12 rebounds and Kason Harrell 11 points. Evans had five 3-pointers and Scott and Harrell three apiece for Fort Wayne (7-2), which made 12 of 20 from the arc for 60 percent, better than the 50 percent (30 of 60) the Mastodons shot overall. Fort Wayne has attempted 20 or more 3-pointers in eight of their nine games.

Logan McLane and Marcus Weathers had 13 points each for the RedHawks (4-4), who had a two-game win streak snapped.

Fort Wayne scored the first seven points of the game and never trailed, building a 16-point halftime lead with 14 points from Evans and 10 from Scott. The lead remained in double figures in the second half.
