Moore grabs 3 late TD passes, Stetson beats Davidson 31-27

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Gaven DeFilippo hit Kegan Moore on two long scoring strikes and one short one in the fourth quarter to lead Stetson to a 31-27 comeback win over Davidson as the Hatters picked up their first Pioneer Conference victory this season.

Trailing 21-17 with 9:20 remaining, Stetson's Chris Atkins intercepted Stockton McGuire. On the next play DeFilippo hit Moore from the 38-yard line for a touchdown.

DeFilippo passed to Moore on a 42-yard score earlier in the final period and flipped the winning TD pass to Moore from the 6 with 1:07 left.

DeFilippo was 24 of 43 passing for 261 yards. Moore grabbed eight of those for 151 yards for Stetson (2-2, 1-1).

McGuire led Davidson (2-3, 0-2) with 130 yards passing and 102 yards on the ground. McGuire broke for a 72-yard scoring run early in the second half to a 14-10 lead.
