BALTIMORE (AP) — Chris Andrews threw for three touchdowns and Eric Harrell ran in the winning score with 30 seconds left to lift Morgan State to a 28-24 win over Howard on Saturday night.

Trailing 24-21 late in the fourth quarter, Morgan State (1-2, 1-0 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) drove 69 yards in 14 plays to set up Harrell's winning touchdown run from the 4. Howard (0-4, 0-2) got the ball back with 22 seconds left and marched to the Morgan State 28 before Kalen Johnson's pass fell incomplete as time expired, sealing Morgan State's first win of the season.

Andrews was 7 of 18 for 178 yards, including touchdown throws to Willie Gillus III, Ladarious Spearman and Ricky Fiske.

Howard got rushing touchdowns from William Parker and Da'Vaun Johnson. Jordan Griggs kicked three field goals, including a 45-yarder that temporarily put the Bison back on top in the fourth quarter. Robert Mercer caught a 2-point conversion throw from Johnson in the third quarter.
