CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Armel Potter scored a career-high 27 points with eight rebounds and Charleston Southern defeated Presbyterian 77-63 on Thursday night, notching a 10th-straight win over Presbyterian in five seasons.

The duo of Patrick Wallace and Reuben King scored 13 points each and Javis Howard added 12 for Charleston Southern (9-16, 5-9 Big South).er scored a career-high 27 points with eight rebounds and Charleston Southern defeated Presbyterian 77-63 on Thursday night, notching a 10-straight win over Presbyterian in five seasons.

Presbyterian (8-16, 3-10) got off to a cold start, making 6 of 21 field goals in the first half, and trailed 37-23 at the break. DeSean Murray led the Blue Hose with 18 points — 15 in the first half — and Reggie Dillard added 12. Presbyterian came as close as nine points early in the second half on a Murray free throw.

Charleston Southern outrebounded Presbyterian 43-27 with 14 offensive boards that led to 16 second-chance points.
