SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Fletcher Magee hit career-high nine 3-pointers and scored a career-best 34 points to lead Wofford to an easy 92-60 win over VMI on Monday night.

The freshman guard also set career marks for field goals (11) and shooting percentage (84.6), and added four assists. Eric Garcia added four 3-pointers and 12 points, and Justin Gordon had 11 points for the Terriers (12-13, 8-4 Southern Conference), who hit 17 of their 21 attempts from beyond the arc.

Wofford has won four of its last five and six straight against VMI. The Keydets have not defeated the Terriers since 2001.

Phillip Anglade and Jordan Weethee each scored 13 for VMI (6-17, 1-11).

Garcia nailed two 3s in the first 90 seconds to spark a 10-2 Wofford run to start the game. The Terriers held a 51-32 lead at the break and a Magee 3-pointer pushed the Wofford advantage with 2:38 remaining.
