FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Rashard Todd scored 19 points and Cal State-Fullerton cruised past Division II-member Cal State Dominguez Hills 88-56 on Tuesday.
Todd was 7 of 8 from the floor with three 3-pointers. Lanerryl Johnson scored 16 points, freshman Khalil Ahmad had 15 points, a season-high 12 rebounds and four assists, while Malcolm Brooks added 10 points.
Justin Sadler led the Toros with 11 points. Arthur Caldwell and Josh Brown added 10 points apiece.
Cal State-Fullerton scored the first 12 points of the second half, and an 18-2 run over nearly seven minutes removed any doubt about this one.
The Titans led by four midway through the first half, went on a 10-2 run to take control, then scored the last seven points of the half — including a 3-pointer by Tre Coggins — to lead 42-27 at intermission.
