EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Jordan Fouse scored 22 points and dished out six assists and Green Bay used a big first-half to handle Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, 87-69 on Monday night.
Fouse scored 16 of his points in the first half as the Phoenix (4-3) built a 54-28 advantage by intermission by shooting 21 of 34 from the floor (61.8 percent).
Carrington Love added 17 points for Green Bay, hitting 4 of 7 from beyond the arc, and dished out seven assists while Charles Cooper added 15 points and grabbed eight boards.
Green Bay finished the game shooting 34 of 64 from the field (53.1 percent), including 9 of 17 from distance and scored 20 points off Edwardsville turnovers.
Grant Fiorentinos scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the Edwardsville bench. Carlos Anderson added 14 points and Burak Eslik added 11.
The Cougars shot just 35.6 percent from the field (26 of 73).
