FORT MEYERS, Fla. (AP) — Christian Terrell scored a career-high 24 points and Florida Gulf Coast routed NAIA Ave Maria 91-34 on Sunday night.

Terrell was 9 of 15 from the field with four 3-pointers. Marc Eddy Norelia added 14 points with three assists for Florida Gulf Coast (4-3), which snapped a two-game losing skid and bounced back after losing at Florida, 70-50 on Nov. 27.

Florida Gulf Coast scored its most points since beating Youngstown State 104-101 in triple overtime on Nov. 21. The Eagles beat Texas Wesleyan 85-62 in regulation on Nov. 16.

Martez Harris scored seven points to lead Ave Maria, which has played five of its six games on the road.

The Gyrenes have lost all six of their games, including three to D-II schools and the exhibition to Florida Gulf Coast, by an average of 33 points and have scored no more than 60 points in each.
