NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) — Kevin Little scored 19 points and Ilija Stojiljkovic grabbed 11 rebounds and Maine picked up its first road win of the season, holding off Central Connecticut State, 81-74 on Sunday afternoon.

After beating Longwood, 92-82 on Wednesday, the Black Bears (2-3) now have their first two-game win streak since February 1, 2014.

Jahlil Nails hit the second of two free throws to pull Central Connecticut (0-5) within three points, 76-73 with 1:18 left in the game, but the Black Bears hit 5 of 6 from the free-throw line in the final minute to preserve the win.

Til Gloger scored 15 and Devine Eke added 11 for Maine, which shot 47.5 percent from the field (28 of 59), including 7 of 20 (35 percent) from beyond the arc.

Austin Nehls and Khalen Cumberlander each scored 15 points and Brandon Peel added 14 points for the Blue Devils.
