Coggins leads Cal State Fullerton past Nevada 75-66

FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Tre Coggins pumped in four 3-pointers and finished with 25 points to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 75-66 win over Nevada on Saturday night.

Lanerryl Johnson added 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting for Fullerton (4-1), which has won four straight. Coggins hit 9 of 21 from the field and his 25 points tied the career-best he set Tuesday against Southern Utah.

The Titans took control in the second half with a 9-2 burst sparked by one of Coggins' 3s to make it 45-38 with 14:12 to play, then padded it a few minutes later with an 8-0 burst capped with a pair of free throws from Lionheart Leslie.

Eric Cooper Jr. led Nevada (4-2) with 19 points on 5-for-9 shooting and 6 of 6 from the line. Tyron Criswell added 11 points for the Wolf Pack.
