PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Dominique Elliott scored 21 points and Maryland-Eastern Shore won its first game of the season with a 70-57 victory over St. Francis (Pa) on Friday.

Elliott was 9 of 12 from the field with two 3-pointers and eight rebounds. Devin Martin had 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting for Maryland-Eastern Shore (1-4).

Isaiah Blackmon made 3 of 4 3-pointers and finished with 17 points to lead St. Francis (2-3). Ronnie Drinnon added 15 points with 13 rebounds.

The Hawks led 36-35 at halftime, and used a 21-12 surge to stretch their lead to 57-47 midway through the second half and cruised from there.

Maryland-Eastern Shore beat the Red Flash for the first time, and after losing to St. Francis in the final minute, 57-53 last season.

The Red Flash lead the series 5-1.
