KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Ken Williams scored 19 with six assists, Georgi Boyanov added 17 points and nine rebounds and South Alabama closed the game on a 14-0 run to beat IUPUI 78-68 Tuesday.

Don Muepokelly had 11 points, Barrington Stevens added 10 and Nick Stover had eight with 10 rebounds for South Alabama (2-3).

Matt O'Leary made a layup to put IUPUI (2-4) up 68-64 with 5:18 to play, but Boyanov scored six in a row as South Alabama scored the final 14 points of the game.

IUPUI missed all of its last six field goal attempts and was scoreless over the final five-plus minutes.

South Alabama shot 51 percent from the field while limiting IUPUI to 35 percent shooting — including 25 percent (7 of 28) in the second half.

Darell Combs scored 18 and T.J. Anderson added 14 points for IUPUI.
