PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — DeShaun Wiggins and Tim Douglas combined to score 35 points as hot-shooting Portland State cruised past Montana State80-62 on Saturday night, snapping a four-game losing streak to the Bobcats.
The Vikings (11-9, 5-5 Big Sky) got the bounce-back performance they were looking for, coming off a disappointing 73-54 loss to Montana Thursday — their third conference loss at home this season.
Wiggins was 6 of 11 from the field and knocked down 2 of 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 18 points. Douglas was 5 of 8 from the field and connected with all three of his 3-point attempts to finish with 17.
Michael Dison scored 13 points and was the only Bobcat to score in double figures as Montana State (4-17, 1-8) dropped its third game in a row.
