SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Mikh McKinney and Cody Demps scored 18 apiece, Dylan Garrity hit the winning 3 with six seconds to go and Sacramento State beat Montana 70-69 on Saturday night to remain atop the Big Sky Conference standings.

McKinney hit a pair of free throws with 51 seconds remaining to pull Sacramento State (15-6, 9-1) within 69-67. Nick Hornsby came up with a steal on the other end but, after McKinney missed a 3 with 19 seconds to go, Hornsby fouled Mike Weisner.

Weisner missed the front end of a one-and-one with 18 seconds to play, setting up Garrity's winner.

A layup by Mario Dunn gave Montana (11-9, 7-2) an eight-point lead with three minutes left, but Sacramento State closed the game with a 9-0 run.

Brandon Gfeller led the Grizzlies, who led by as many as 13 in the second half, with 20 points.

Eric Stuteville added 13 points and Garrity had 10 for Sacramento State, which has won six straight.
