Sheriff Winder take issue with report on jailing policy

The Salt Lake County Sheriff is pushing back by claims from some officers saying they can't book some misdemeanor offenders into the county jail because of a policy capping the number of inmates.

SLC to build only two new homeless facilities

State officials, along with leaders from Salt Lake County, will start the process of finding a location for another facility outside of Salt Lake City.
