ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Ryan Dungey raced to his first 450SX victory of the AMA Supercross season and 15th overall, leading 19 of 20 laps Saturday night at Angel Stadium.

Dungey, the KTM rider from Belle Plaine, Minnesota, increased his lead in the season standings to 11 points over Suzuki's Ken Roczen, the winner of the first two Anaheim races of the season.

"The whole day was great," Dungey said. "We went out there and got a good start, got into the lead and led all of the laps. That is all we can do. We've finished fourth, third, second, second and now first and that is a step forward."

Honda's Cole Seely was a career-best second. Honda's Eli Tomac was third, followed by Roczen and Honda's Trey Canard, the winner last week in Oakland.

Yamaha's Cooper Webb won the Western Regional 250SX race for his second Anaheim victory of the season and third in the first five races. The 19-year-old Webb increased his season lead to 18 points over KTM's Jessy Nelson.

"I couldn't have asked for a better race," Webb said. "I look forward to keeping the momentum up next weekend in San Diego."

Nelson, the winner in the Anaheim opener, was second, followed by Yamaha's Aaron Plessinger and Husqvarna's Zach Osborne. The 15-lap race was restarted from scratch after six laps because of a starting-gate malfunction involving Osborne.
