LONDON (AP) — British police have released likenesses of two men suspected of trying to abduct a serviceman near a Royal Air Force base in eastern England.

Norfolk Constabulary created the computer-generated composite images based on descriptions by the airman. They say both suspects are between 20 and 30 and of Middle Eastern appearance. One is bearded.

Police say two men, one carrying a knife, approached the serviceman while he was jogging near RAF Marham on July 20 and tried to bundle him into a car. The serviceman fought back and got away.

The incident shares some elements of the 2013 attack on British soldier Lee Rigby, who was killed on a London street by two al-Qaida-inspired extremists.

Police said Wednesday they do not know whether last week's abduction attempt was terrorism-related.
