A man convicted of assisting in the murder of two teenage boys is asking his city for forgiveness and for a spot on their city council.

U.S. Sen. Michael Crapo pleaded guilty Friday to a charge of driving while intoxicated and then apologized for his actions and asked forgiveness from his constituents.

Obama '08 campaign fined $375,000 by FEC
