Around 30 large dolphins beached themselves in northeastern Brazil over the weekend, and news reports said Monday that at least seven of them had died.

The former director of Paraguay's National Indigenous Institute is allegedly on the run, accused of stealing $700,000 destined for food, medicine, roads and homes for nearly 300 poor indigenous people.
