Sierra Leone's media commission has suspended a newspaper for reporting that the Islamic extremist rebels of al-Shabab were planning to attack a main government building.

France may bolster troops in C. African Republic

A diplomat says France may increase its troop presence in Central African Republic to back an African Union peacekeeping force, going beyond protecting French interests in the country.
