S. Sudan leader petitions against president orders

South Sudan's suspended ruling party secretary-general petitioned the Supreme Court on Wednesday to overturn and declare unconstitutional an order by the president that restricted him from movement outside of the capital and speaking to the press, his lawyer said.

Central African Republic asks soldiers to return

A delegation from Central African Republic is trying to persuade soldiers from the national army to return home after they fled to neighboring Cameroon in the aftermath of a rebel takeover more than four months ago.
