Pregnancy and the birth of a child can be a happy time, but for some women it's difficult to get maternity leave from work or keep their jobs.

When Utah author Jeffrey Savage wrote his adult horror novel 10 years ago, he never imagined that an LDS publisher would be the one to put the scary story in reader's hands.
