Senator introduces bill to study impact of violent video games and children

Following the tragic shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., where 20 children and six adults were killed, a U.S. senator is looking to study the impact of violent video games and the media on children.

Child poverty over 30% in some Utah counties, though state rate is low

Utah's poverty rate now sits at 13.5 percent, but the 2011 rate for children is much higher, at 16.3 percent, up from 2010.
