"Bitcoin is a virtual currency so the coins are not real currency. However, Austin said it can carry a code for a Bitcoin wallet that does hold virtual bitcoins that some retailers and individuals around the world will accept."

This sounds a lot like the currency I use. My paycheck goes directly into my bank account(virtual wallet) and I carry a code(credit/debit card) that holds virtual currency... I've traveled around the world and people love to accept the currency I use without cutting any deals before hand... Sometime I like to trade my virtual currency for actual currency and there are little machines all around that allow this.

whoa now hold on, this is "new" and made in provo. So therefore it is original. Since people in provo would never take an old idea and do the exact same thing but call it different.

It's not made in Provo and isn't a new concept. The unique thing about Bitcoins is that no government controls it or regulates it. Whether that is good or bad is to be seen.

This is nothing more than a novelty and honestly, I have no desire now or ever to see this documentary. That's my 2 bitcoins anyway (see what I did there??).

Virtual, huh? Is this FDIC insured? I've had my card skimmed and wiped out right before Christmas. If something happened and some "hacker" got access to their virtual wallet, I can't imagine any FDIC protection there.

Let's pray for the children that there will not be a power outage or a hacker now watching their every move.

What a life, to young and in love and to be so clueless as to how the world works. How do you offertip with Bitcoin, pay bus fair or a taxi driver, use a pay toilet, buy a post card from a vendor, and so many other things that need cash on the spot.
