Alex Kirry is host of Cougar Sports Saturday, as well as co-host of the Nightside Project, now in podcast form. Together with Ethan Millard, they have been with the show since its debut in 2006 and then began hosting together in late 2007. He's also the morning sports anchor on Utah's Morning News with Brian and Amanda, in-studio host for the BYU Football broadcasts, morning sports anchor for KSL 5 TV and is even a TV reporter when they decide to let him out of his cage.

Alex studied Broadcast Journalism and Spanish at BYU and has been working in radio since 2004 starting out in sports radio before moving over to KSL. He grew up in a couple of places--born in Texas before completing high school in the Seattle area where his parents still reside.

At BYU, Alex was a writer and performer in the popular sketch comedy group "Divine Comedy", has performed in numerous improv comedy groups and has acted in feature films and television commercials. He met his wife while bowling (classy), and they have two hilarious little boys.
