CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 21-year-old woman in Cheyenne as a homicide.
Officer Kevin Malatesta, a spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department, tells the Wyoming Tribune Eagle https://goo.gl/vHAfyB that 57-year-old Emigdio Lara is being sought for the death of 21-year-old Victoria Juarez. The victim and the suspect were dating.
Police say Juarez's body was found Monday morning in the basement of a south Cheyenne restaurant where Lara worked.
Malatesta says investigators determined that she had been suffocated and suffered blunt-force trauma.
