KEARNS, Utah (AP) — A victim who reported being robbed and shot at in Kearns has been arrested after police say they found a drug lab in his home.
Unified police had responded to multiple reports of shots fired when they found the victim early Wednesday.
The man said three to four men in a white sedan had stolen his backpack and car charger and then fired shots at him.
Police Lt. Brian Lohrke says officers recovered at least 14 gun shell casings and found one bullet hole in the man's house.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for the victim's home, where police say they discovered evidence of a drug manufacturing and distribution operation.
The robbery victim was arrested and jailed.
Police have not yet located the shooting suspects.
