SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — North Salt Lake police say a man has died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.
KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.ly/2edpdV2) the crash happened Sunday around 7:30 a.m. where U.S. 89 meets Center Street.
Sgt. Mitch Gwilliam says the pickup was traveling east and the motorcycle north when they struck each other.
The impact caused the pickup roll over.
According to Gwilliam, the motorcycle rider died at the scene.
He was not wearing helmet.
The driver of the pickup was treated at the scene.
Gwilliam says the cause is still under investigation.
Police have not determined if alcohol or speed played a role.
