HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — A man charged with driving under the influence in the hit-and-run death of a bicyclist on South Carolina's Hilton Head Island last month has again been arrested for DUI.

The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports (http://bit.ly/2dwGP0H ) that an incident report shows 64-year-old Richard Alford was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was seen swerving on a road on the resort island.

Jail records show he was booked into the Beaufort County jail Wednesday evening but did not indicate if he has an attorney.

At the time of his arrest, Alford was out on bond on charges of felony driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death.

Those charges stemmed from the August hit-and-run death of 66-year-old Jeff Garske.
