WVU ceremony to remember 3 students who died

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — A bell-ringing ceremony is planned at West Virginia University in remembrance of three students who died.

The ceremony is scheduled for about noon Friday at Oglebay Plaza on the downtown campus in Morgantown.

The ceremony will honor students Parker Baranowski, Michael Marcus and Ryan Mumaw.

Baranowski, a 20-year-old senior electrical engineering major from Baker died on June 16.

Marcus, a 22-year-old senior industrial engineering major from Charleston, died on July 29.

Mumaw, a 21-year-old junior business major from Charles Town, died on July 19.

Relatives and friends of the students and the university community are being invited to attend.
