GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — Authorities in western Colorado have arrested two people in connection with the shooting death of a man in Utah.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports (http://goo.gl/XoyzDo ) 27-year-old Mark Mair and 19-year-old Elcha Hatch were arrested after a brief standoff at a home Monday night. Mair is suspected in the death of 34-year-old Justin Hannah, of Cedar City, Utah, on Sunday.

Investigators received information that Mair and Hatch may be in the Grand Junction area. SWAT officers surrounded the home and, after a brief standoff, deployed tear gas before arresting the pair.
