SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Police say a missing woman was found unconscious and tied up in a South Carolina motel after someone sent her mother video of her daughter gagged, bound and crying.
Simpsonville Police told media outlets the mother called 911 after seeing the videos around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Police found the missing woman's car at a Motel 6 about an hour later and officers found her inside a room unresponsive and tied up. She was taken to the hospital and her condition was not known.
Investigators say they are trying to figure out why the woman was being held against her will. No arrests have been made.
