PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — The search committee for the president of Rhode Island College has recommended four finalists to the Council on Postsecondary Education.

A president is expected to be hired by September.
The college will have an interim president after Nancy Carriuolo's tenure ends.
Carriuolo says she's resigning at the end of the school year. Faculty, staff and former staff members complained about her performance.
Grossman is a professor and former chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Latimer is founding dean at the School of Health Sciences, Human Services and Nursing, and professor at Lehman College, City University of New York. Sanchez is vice chancellor for student affairs at CUNY.
