3rd UM cabinet member since October announces retirement

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Another member of the University of Montana president's cabinet has announced plans to retire.

Vice president for integrated communications Peggy Kuhr will retire in June.

The Missoulian reports (http://bit.ly/1Xq91ip ) that she's the third member of the president's cabinet who has announced retirement plans in the past four months.

In October, UM announced vice president for student affairs Teresa Branch would retire in June. Last month, it was announced that Provost Perry Brown would retire.

President Royce Engstrom says the three cabinet members came to their retirement decisions on their own, without direction or encouragement.
