WASHINGTON (AP) — Police have arrested a man who they say shot two public schools administrators in southeastern Washington last month.
Authorities say 23-year-old Justin Headspeth has been charged with two counts of assault with intent to kill in connection with the Jan. 25 attack on Ballou STAY Dean of Students Otis Grandson and Roosevelt STAY Principal Eugenia Young, who were shot as they sat in a car.
The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/1Sbrqji ) reports that Grandson told investigators he was targeted by a man who he believes killed his brother in 2007.
Grandson's brother, Jermaine M. Holliway, was fatally shot in June 2007 in Barry Farm. No arrest has been made in the slaying and court papers don't explain why Grandson believes the suspect in his shooting was involved in his brother's death.
It's unclear whether Headspeth has an attorney.
