HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Police say they've arrested a 36-year-old man accused of robbing a U.S. Bank branch on June 23.
A tip led Henderson Police and investigators from other local and federal agencies to Jeffrey Kerr at an extended-stay hotel near Nellis Air Force Base where he was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Kerr allegedly approached a bank teller with a note demanding cash and left on foot after receiving it. Police say no weapon was used during the robbery and no one was injured.
It's the police department's second arrest of a suspected bank robber in two days. A man accused of robbing four banks in June was arrested Monday.
