Hanover schools superintendent named dean at U. of Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — The University of Richmond has named Hanover County Schools Superintendent Jamelle Wilson as dean of the School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Wilson's appointment is effective Aug. 1. She will replace Jim Narduzzi, who had served as dean for 21 years.

The university announced Wilson's appointment on Wednesday in a news release.

She has been superintendent of Hanover County Public Schools since July 11 and has served the district for more than 20 years.
