PHOENIX (AP) — An ex-teacher at a Phoenix high school accused of having sexual contact with two former students on campus has changed his plea to guilty.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 41-year-old Carlos Pineda Borja entered his plea Monday.
He had pleaded not guilty on Feb. 10, 2014 to two counts of sexual conduct with a minor, one count of molestation of a child and one count of sexual abuse.
Prosecutors say Borja now is scheduled to be sentenced April 7.
Phoenix police say Borja was still teaching at Morris K. Udall School at the time of his arrest on Jan. 23, 2014.
They say he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with two former students on campus during school hours during the 2012-2013 school year.
The ages of two girls haven't been disclosed.
