RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno police have arrested a suspect in a series of shootings around town, including one earlier this month on the University of Nevada campus.

19-year-old Bradley Lujan of Reno has been charged with numerous counts of assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in a public, robbery and drug offenses.

Investigators said Thursday Lujan is suspected of firing a shot outside the Sigma Nu fraternity and also in an area near Reno High School.

Police detained him and another man during a traffic stop on Saturday, searched the vehicle and found a large number of narcotics and two concealed handguns. Another search at a residence turned up more drugs and an AK-47 assault rifle.

The vehicle's driver, 19-year-old Tyler Neilson, also has been booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon.
