AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have identified a body found near a community college campus in Austin.

Austin Police and Mower County Sheriff's Office say Dr. Richard Schindler died near Riverland Community College in what appears to be an accident, possibly from a medical incident. Authorities are waiting for autopsy results.

The sheriff's office says Schindler lived nearby and was supposed to meet a friend for river cleanup Saturday. He was discovered in water near a bike path that morning. KAAL-TV reports it appeared he fell off his bicycle.
