SMYRNA, Del. (AP) — A Delaware mother is facing charges of child endangerment after police say she left her autistic child in a car alone.
WDEL Radio (http://bit.ly/1CdJTls ) reports police were called to the Smyrna Mart Shopping Center on Wednesday after several people said they said a child in a car without an adult. Police say the autistic 5-year-old child was in the car for at least 20 minutes.
Inga Gillett-Spio was arrested and later freed on $1,000 bail.
