CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors in Cape May County are accusing a Middle Township High School teacher of having sex with a student.

Authorities have charged 34-year-old Joseph Towns with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, child endangerment and official misconduct.

Authorities allege the English teacher engaged in a sexual relationship with the student between October 2012 and October 2013.

It's not known if Towns has a lawyer.
