STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Penn State's student-run newspaper is bringing back its sex column.

The Daily Collegian nixed the "Mounting Nittany" column in November 2011, shortly after retired Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with sexual molestation. Sandusky was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse and is serving a decades-long state prison sentence. He maintains he is innocent.

On Thursday, the Collegian's editor announced a new sex column called "Let's Talk about Sex," penned by a female columnist with a companion piece by a male columnist. The columnists will write under the pseudonyms "Dick" and "Jane."

Editor-in-Chief Brittany Horn says that "on a campus like Penn State, we're lying if we say sex isn't highly discussed."
