(AP) - Despite a recent spike in mortgage rates, the average on the 30-year fixed loan remains a bargain at below 5 percent. Here are the average annual rates for the 30-year loan for each of the last 10 years. The housing market downturn began in 2007. Data are from Bankrate.com.
