CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. fell 8.75 cents at $3.96 a bushel; Dec. corn lost 7.50 cents to 3.29 a bushel; Dec. oats was down 3.75 cents at $1.7325 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans declined 9.75 cents to $9.4525 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was off .45 cents at $1.0682 a pound; September feeder cattle lost .77 cent to $1.3605 a pound; while October lean hogs fell .95 cent at $.5305 a pound.
