CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 5 cents higher at $3.66 a bushel; Sept. corn was 5.50 cents higher at $3.07 bushel; Sept. oats was 4.25 cents higher at $1.6520 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans gained 2 cents to $9.62 a bushel.
Beef lower pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .60 cent lower at $1.0598 a pound; September feeder cattle was 1.58 cents lower at $1.3895 pound; October lean hogs gained .43 cent to to $.6328 a pound.
