WOODLAND PARK, N.J. (AP) — Gannett has named two executives to lead a New Jersey media company it recently purchased.

Nancy Meyer was named president of North Jersey Media Group on Monday, and Rick Green was named vice president for news and editor.

Meyer is the former publisher and chief executive of the Orlando Sentinel Media Group. Green is president and publisher of the Gannett-owned Enquirer Media in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The McLean, Virginia-based Gannett purchased the New Jersey news organization last month. It publishes The Record, NorthJersey.com and other newspapers around the state.

Karen Ferguson Fuson is the group president for the West Group of Gannett's Domestic Publishing division that includes The Enquirer. She will serve as acting president for Gannett's Ohio operation.
